Jon Minucci went 3-3 at the plate as the Southern Illinois Miners (17-9) took home a 4-3 victory over the Evansville Otters (17-9) at Rent One Park, Marion, IL on Saturday.

Adam Lopez handled the Evansville Otters' lineup with ease, racking up eight strikeouts. Lopez allowed one earned run, four hits and one walk over six innings.

John Schultz had two extra-base hits for the Evansville Otters. He doubled in the second and ninth innings.

Efrain Nieves pitched seven innings and allowed two earned runs, four hits and three walks while striking out none.

Eric Green improved to 3-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Southern Illinois Miners. He struck out three, walked none and surrendered no hits.

Connor Little couldn't get it done on the mound for the Evansville Otters, taking a loss. He lasted just one inning, walked none, struck out one, and allowed two runs.
