Jonathan Garcia had two extra base hits, sparking the Windy City ThunderBolts (10-13) to a 3-2 victory over the Gateway Grizzlies (7-18) on Friday at Standard Bank Stadium.

Cameron Giannini had an impressive outing against the Gateway Grizzlies' lineup. The Gateway Grizzlies managed just two hits off of the the Windy City ThunderBolts' pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out five during his three innings of work.

Zak Wasserman recorded his first win of the year for the Windy City ThunderBolts. He allowed two runs over five innings. Wasserman struck out five, walked two and gave up three hits.

JaVaun West was charged with his third loss of the year. He lasted just six innings, walked three, struck out five, and allowed three runs.
