Brandon Tierney had two extra-base hits for the Frontier Greys. He homered in the first inning, tripled in the third inning, and singled in the eighth inning.

Michael Earley racked up two RBIs on three hits for the Southern Illinois Miners. He homered in the seventh inning and singled in the fifth and ninth innings.

Brett Shankin recorded his first win of the year for the Frontier Greys. He struck out one, walked none and surrendered two hits.

Will Rankin (0-1) took the loss for the Southern Illinois Miners. He lasted just one inning, walked one, struck out one, and allowed two runs.
