Both the Traverse City Beach Bums (31-19) and the Evansville Otters (34-18) put runners aboard on Sunday, but it was the Traverse City Beach Bums that were able to take advantage, pulling out a 6-3 win at Bosse Field.

Adam Kirsch led the Traverse City Beach Bums' offensive threat, as he got on base two times in the game. He scored two runs and had one RBI. He homered in the eighth inning.

Ian MacDougall's six strikeouts helped the Traverse City Beach Bums to the victory. MacDougall allowed one earned run on five hits and no walks over five innings.

Shayne Houck paced the Evansville Otters at the plate. Houck went 2-5, drove in one and scored two runs. He homered in the sixth inning and singled in the eighth inning.

Trevor Walch (6-3) took the loss for the Evansville Otters. He lasted just 5 2/3 innings, walked three, struck out three, and allowed three runs.
