The Sacramento Heat (20-20) and the Nevada Big Horns (17-20) both had scoring chances on Saturday, but it was the Sacramento Heat that were able to capitalize on them as they pulled out a 4-3 win at Sheldon High School.

Willie Bennett improved to 2-2 on the year by picking up the win for the Sacramento Heat. He allowed three runs over seven innings. Bennett struck out seven, walked one and gave up nine hits.
Zachary Muenster was charged with his third loss of the year. He lasted just six innings, walked one, struck out one, and allowed four runs.
