The Nevada Big Horns (16-18) jumped on the San Mateo Rounders early on their way to a 5-3 win on Wednesday at Governors Field, scoring four runs in the first inning.

Chip Bouchard had a busy day at the plate, collecting two extra-base hits. He doubled in the first and fifth innings and singled in the seventh inning.

The San Mateo Rounders couldn't get anything going so long as Zachary Muenster was on the hill. The San Mateo Rounders managed just two hits off of Muenster, who allowed no earned runs, walked three and struck out one during his four innings of work.

Ramilo Alvarez had two extra-base hits for the San Mateo Rounders. He doubled in the first innings and tripled in the fifth inning.

The Nevada Big Horns were sparked by Bouchard and Brett Minnick, who teamed up for six hits and five RBIs.
