The Marysville Goldsox and the Nevada Big Horns (13-15) both had scoring chances on Saturday, but it was the Marysville Goldsox that were able to capitalize on them as they pulled out a 3-2 win at Colusa Stadium.

Tripp-Cody got on base three times in the game for the Marysville Goldsox. He scored one run and had one RBI. He singled in the third inning and homered in the seventh inning.

Aaron Alexander brought the heat against the Nevada Big Horns during his outing. The Nevada Big Horns managed just one hit off of the the Marysville Goldsox's pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out three during his two innings of work.

Thomas Sertic was charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just two innings, walked none, struck out none, and allowed one run.
