The Atwater Aviators (12-12) came out firing, but couldn't hang on to the lead, ending up on the losing side of a 4-3 ballgame against the Nevada Big Horns (12-12) on Tuesday at Golden Eagle Park.

A two-run double by Jack Dennis gave the Nevada Big Horns the lead in the seventh inning.

John Heckman racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Nevada Big Horns. He homered in the first inning and singled in the sixth inning.

Zachary Muenster kept contact to a minimum, striking out six the Atwater Aviators batters. Muenster allowed two earned runs on four hits and two walks over seven innings.

Trevor Griffin (0-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just 6 2/3 innings, walked two, struck out four, and allowed four runs.
