An RBI double by John Heckman, an RBI single by Chip Bouchard, a two-run double by Kevin Wallace, and a two-run home run by Jake Chambers in the first inning and an RBI single by Dan Busch and a groundout by Wallace during the second inning supplied the early offense for the Nevada Big Horns.Jack Dennis had a busy day at the plate, collecting two extra-base hits. Lucas Lorenz racked up two RBIs on one hit for the Atwater Aviators. He homered in the sixth inning.
Jake Sheley got his second win for the Nevada Big Horns despite allowing seven runs over seven innings. He struck out two, walked three and surrendered 10 hits.
Phil Sauer was charged with his first loss of the year. He allowed eight runs in two innings, walked none and struck out one.
