The Jamestown Jammers cruise past the Champion City Kings, 9-3

The Champion City Kings (22-32) didn't have a chance on Saturday, as the Jamestown Jammers (26-30) won in blowout fashion, 9-3 at Diethrick Park.

The Jamestown Jammers scored three runs in the eighth on the Jamestown Jammers scored in the eighth on a two-run single by Nick Vehlewald and a sacrifice fly by Eric Solberg.

David Lemasters ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just four innings, walked three, struck out one, and allowed five runs.
