The Champion City Kings (22-32) didn't have a chance on Saturday, as the Jamestown Jammers (26-30) won in blowout fashion, 9-3 at Diethrick Park.

The Jamestown Jammers scored three runs in the eighth on the Jamestown Jammers scored in the eighth on a two-run single by Nick Vehlewald and a sacrifice fly by Eric Solberg.

The Jamestown Jammers were led by a flawless day at the dish by Austin Alonge, who went 3-3 against the Champion City Kings' pitching. He tripled in the first inning, singled in the fifth inning, and doubled in the sixth inning.

Pat Mace had an impressive outing against the Champion City Kings' lineup. The Champion City Kings managed just one hit off of the the Jamestown Jammers' pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out three during his three innings of work.

AJ Monarrez improved to 3-2 on the year by picking up the win for the Jamestown Jammers. He allowed three runs over six innings. He struck out two, walked five and surrendered three hits.

David Lemasters ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just four innings, walked three, struck out one, and allowed five runs.
