A walk-off error from Corbin Woods brought home the winning run for the Danville Dans (28-24) in a 3-2 victory over the Springfield Sliders (23-27) in 11 innings at Danville Stadium on Wednesday.

The Springfield Sliders' lineup had no answer for Michael McCormick. McCormick gave up just two hits, allowed no earned runs, walked two and struck out four during his six innings of work.

Reggie Johnson improved to 2-1 on the year by picking up the win for the Danville Dans. He struck out one, walked two and surrendered one hit.

Jose Marin (2-4) took the loss for the Springfield Sliders. He lasted just 2 1/3 innings, walked one, struck out three, and allowed one run.
