The Springfield Sliders (23-26) built an early edge on Tuesday, but the Danville Dans (27-24) roared back to steal a 7-5 victory at Danville Stadium.

The Danville Dans took the lead in the fifth inning on a two-run double by Aidan Stinnett.

Christian Diaz racked up two RBIs on one hit for the Danville Dans. He homered in the second innings.

The Springfield Sliders had no answer for Connor Mitchell, who kept runners off the basepaths in his appearance. The Springfield Sliders managed just one hit off of the the Danville Dans' pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out three during his three innings of work.

Michael Chavez couldn't get it done on the bump for the Springfield Sliders, taking a loss. He allowed six runs in five innings, walked one and struck out two.
