Samuel Higgs kept the Danville Dans (26-23) off the board during his seven innings of work and the Terre Haute Rex (36-11) beat the Danville Dans, 2-1.

Kyle Kempf put himself in scoring position with two extra-base hits for the Terre Haute Rex. He homered in the first inning and doubled in the seventh inning.
