Jordan Godman went 2-4, helping the Chillicothe Paints (28-18) to a 5-1 victory over the West Virginia Miners (26-19) on Thursday at Linda K. Epling Stadium.

Tanner Allison pitched lights out for the Chillicothe Paints. Allison gave up just two hits, allowed one earned run, walked two and struck out five during his six innings of work.

Zach Sterry did his best to jumpstart the offense for the West Virginia Miners, reaching base three times. He also drove in one runner. He tripled in the fourth inning.

Tyler Whitlatch (0-2) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just six innings, walked none, struck out six, and allowed four runs.
