A great effort by Tanner Andrews hoisted the Kokomo Jackrabbits (24-22) to a 4-0 win over the Danville Dans on Wednesday at Danville Stadium.
The Danville Dans (24-21) had no answer for Andrews, who kept runners off the basepaths in his appearance. The Danville Dans managed just one hit off of Andrews, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out four during his seven innings of work.
Shea Molitor led the Kokomo Jackrabbits' offensive threat, as he got on base three times in the game. He singled in the fourth inning and doubled in the sixth inning.
Ryan Gaines was charged with his third loss of the year. He lasted just six innings, walked two, struck out four, and allowed three runs.
