Cale Dineen went 1-4 as the Champion City Kings (18-24) took home a 4-3 victory over the Danville Dans (24-20) in eight innings at Danville Stadium on Tuesday.

Bailey Magsig allowed no earned runs, six hits and two walks while striking out five over 6 2/3 innings of work.

The Champion City Kings' lineup had no answer for Connor Mitchell. The Champion City Kings managed just three hits off of the the Danville Dans' pitcher, who allowed one earned run, walked three and struck out four during his five innings of work.

David Lemasters improved to 4-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Champion City Kings. Lemasters struck out one, walked one and gave up no hits.

Grant Mayeaux was charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just two innings, walked one, struck out three, and allowed one run.
