Jalen Washington went 1-4, helping the Jamestown Jammers (22-20) to a 3-2 victory over the Butler BlueSox (22-20) on Saturday at Diethrick Park.
He tripled in the second inning.AJ Monarrez picked up the win for the Jamestown Jammers. Monarrez allowed one earned run, four hits and two walks while striking out five over seven innings of work.
Despite the loss, the Butler BlueSox's Connor Coward dominated the Jamestown Jammers' batters, giving up three runs and striking out eight.
Coward couldn't get it done on the mound for the Butler BlueSox, taking a loss.
