Quinten Sefcik kept the Hannibal Cavemen (9-27) off the board during his six innings of work and the Terre Haute Rex (30-9) beat the Hannibal Cavemen, 12-5.

Sefcik struck out three and allowed four walks and three hits.

The Terre Haute Rex blew out the Hannibal Cavemen thanks to 12 hits, including zero extra base hits. The Terre Haute Rex scored six runs in the second on the Terre Haute Rex scored in the second on a hit by pitch, a single by Blake Richardson, a hit by pitch, a triple by Andy De Jesus, a sacrifice fly by Kyle Kempf, and a solo home run by Ricardo Ramirez.

Ramirez had a busy day at the plate, collecting two extra-base hits.

Michael Greene was charged with his second loss of the year. He allowed seven runs in 1 1/3 innings, walked none and struck out one.

The Terre Haute Rex were sparked by Kyle Blackburn and De Jesus, who teamed up for four hits and eight RBIs.
