Dylan Harvey collected three hits, helping the West Virginia Miners (25-14) to a 6-1 victory over the Kokomo Jackrabbits (20-20) on Wednesday at Kokomo Municipal Stadium.
He singled in the fourth and sixth innings and tripled in the eighth inning.The Kokomo Jackrabbits' lineup had no answer for Caleb Smith. The Kokomo Jackrabbits managed just two hits off of Smith, who allowed no earned runs, walked three and struck out three during his four innings of work.
Tanner Andrews (0-1) took the loss for the Kokomo Jackrabbits. He lasted just 3 2/3 innings, walked one, struck out two, and allowed five runs.
