The Terre Haute Rex (29-9) and the Hannibal Cavemen (9-26) both threatened with rallies, but it was the Terre Haute Rex that eventually took advantage of them in a 4-3 win at Bob Warn Field at Sycamore Stad.

Kyle Kempf led the Terre Haute Rex's offensive threat, as he got on base three times in the game. He scored one run and had one RBI. He doubled in the third innings and singled in the sixth inning.

Brennan Hehner brought the heat against the Terre Haute Rex during his outing. The Terre Haute Rex managed just two hits off of Hehner, who allowed two earned runs, walked two and struck out three during his five innings of work.

Jake Sprinkle improved to 4-1 on the year by picking up the win for the Terre Haute Rex. Sprinkle struck out none, walked none and gave up two hits.

Tyler Yancey (0-3) took the loss for the Hannibal Cavemen. He lasted just one inning, walked one, struck out two, and allowed two runs.
