David Lemasters's eight strikeouts helped the Champion City Kings to the victory. Lemasters allowed one earned run, five hits and two walks over six innings.
Justin Paul racked up two RBIs on two hits for the West Virginia Miners. He doubled in the first inning and singled in the fourth inning.
Tyler Rowe was charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just five innings, walked four, struck out three, and allowed five runs.
