The Richmond RiverRats outdone by Goggin and the Jamestown Jammers, 5-1

David Goggin went 3-3 at the plate, helping the Jamestown Jammers (20-12) to a 5-1 victory over the Richmond RiverRats (11-19) on Thursday at Diethrick Park.

He doubled in the fourth inning and singled in the sixth and eighth innings.

Cam Knott's six strikeouts were enough to push the Jamestown Jammers past the Richmond RiverRats. Knott allowed one earned run on five hits and three walks over seven innings.

Nick Coudret was effective even in defeat, mowing down six the Jamestown Jammers batters and allowing one run.

Austin Cole couldn't get it done on the hill for the Richmond RiverRats, taking a loss. He lasted just 1 1/3 innings, walked two, struck out two, and allowed four runs.
