The Kokomo Jackrabbits (16-15) and the Springfield Sliders (13-17) each put runners in scoring position on Thursday, but the Kokomo Jackrabbits capitalized on more RBI opportunities, pulling out a 7-3 win at Robin Roberts Field.

Mark Zimmerman led the Kokomo Jackrabbits' offensive threat, as he got on base four times in the game. He singled in the seventh and eighth innings.

Brett Charbonneau was solid at the plate for the Springfield Sliders. Charbonneau went 3-5, drove in one and scored one run. He singled in the third, fifth, and seventh innings.

Emilio Calderon got the win, running his season record to 2-3. He allowed three runs over six innings. He struck out one, walked one and surrendered nine hits.

Kellen Rholl couldn't get it done on the hill for the Springfield Sliders, taking a loss. He lasted just four innings, walked four, struck out two, and allowed one run.
