The Hannibal Cavemen (7-17) and the Springfield Sliders (12-16) each put runners in scoring position on Tuesday, but the Hannibal Cavemen capitalized on more RBI opportunities, pulling out a 5-3 win at Clemens Field.

Ryan Snyder racked up three RBIs on three hits for the Hannibal Cavemen. He singled in the first and third innings and doubled in the fifth inning.

Brendan Kleekamp handled the Springfield Sliders' lineup with ease, racking up four strikeouts. The Hannibal Cavemen's pitcher gave up just four hits over four shutout innings.

David Jacob racked up two RBIs on three hits for the Springfield Sliders. He doubled in the first inning and singled in the fifth and sixth innings.

Jake Eikleberry improved to 2-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Hannibal Cavemen. He allowed three runs over five innings. He struck out three, walked one and surrendered 10 hits.

Connor Jacobs ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just five innings, walked one, struck out none, and allowed four runs.
