Cropley's walk-off single send the Terre Haute Rex home winners, 4-3

A walk-off single from Tyler Cropley brought home the winning run for the Terre Haute Rex (21-6) in a 4-3 victory over the Springfield Sliders at Bob Warn Field at Sycamore Stad on Sunday.

Cropley was solid at the plate for the Terre Haute Rex. Cropley went 1-5 and drove in one. He singled in the ninth inning.

Alex Holder pitched six innings and allowed one earned run, four hits and two walks while striking out one.

Brett Charbonneau racked up three RBIs on four hits for the Springfield Sliders (12-15). He singled in the first, third, sixth, and seventh innings.

Jacob Murray improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Terre Haute Rex. He struck out two, walked none and surrendered two hits.

Mike Ringer was charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just 2 2/3 innings, walked one, struck out one, and allowed one run.
