Jalen Washington collected three hits as the Jamestown Jammers (18-8) took home a 3-2 victory over the Champion City Kings (5-19) in eight innings at Diethrick Park on Thursday.

The Champion City Kings managed just two hits off of the the Jamestown Jammers' pitcher, who allowed one earned run, walked one and struck out six during his six innings of work.
Despite the loss, the Champion City Kings' David Lemasters dominated the Jamestown Jammers' batters, giving up two runs and striking out six.
Jake Swiech improved to 1-1 on the year by picking up the win for the Jamestown Jammers. He struck out none, walked none and surrendered no hits.
