The Springfield Sliders scored in the ninth on a two-run double by Dylan Rosa, an RBI single by Jesus Caporal, a fielder's choice, an RBI double by Nathan Prindle, an RBI double by Prindle, a groundout by Grey Schultz, an RBI single by David Jacob, and an RBI single by Jacob.

Rosa racked up six RBIs on three hits for the Springfield Sliders.

The Richmond RiverRats' lineup had no answer for Jose Marin. The Richmond RiverRats managed just one hit off of Marin, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out five during his three innings of work.

Joe Pourier couldn't get it done on the mound for the Richmond RiverRats, taking a loss. He lasted just six innings, walked four, struck out six, and allowed four runs.
