Colan Borchers kept the Danville Dans (12-11) off the board during his six innings of work and the Quincy Gems (10-13) beat the Danville Dans, 5-2.

Borchers allowed three hits, five walks and struck out three.

Taylor Schwaner racked up three RBIs on three hits for the Quincy Gems. He doubled in the third innings and singled in the sixth and eighth innings.

Scott Balfantz got on base three times in the game for the Danville Dans. He singled in the fifth inning and doubled in the ninth inning.

Matt Wivinis was charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just seven innings, walked two, struck out two, and allowed three runs.
