A walk-off single from Justin Blechle brought home the winning run for the Hannibal Cavemen (6-14) in a 12-11 victory over the Kokomo Jackrabbits in 10 innings at Clemens Field on Wednesday.

Blechle racked up two RBIs on three hits for the Hannibal Cavemen. He singled in the eighth, ninth, and tenth innings.

The two teams combined for 23 runs and 29 hits, including zero extra base hits. There were 10 pitchers used in the game as the two managers searched for any way to finish it off.

Sam Griggs racked up five RBIs on two hits for the Hannibal Cavemen. He tripled in the sixth inning and homered in the ninth inning.

Dalton Smith recorded his first win of the year for the Hannibal Cavemen. Smith struck out one, walked none and gave up no hits.

Evan Warden was charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just 1 2/3 innings, walked none, struck out none, and allowed five runs.
