Matt Anderson hopes every outing could go as well as Wednesday, as Anderson struck out 10 batters to carry the West Virginia Miners (11-8) to a 2-1 victory over the Jamestown Jammers (13-5) at Diethrick Park.

Despite the loss, the Jamestown Jammers' Adam Reuss dominated the West Virginia Miners' batters, giving up one run and striking out five.
Hunter Jobe (2-2) took the loss for the Jamestown Jammers. He lasted just two-thirds of an inning, walked none, struck out two, and allowed one run.
