Fans were treated to a high-scoring affair Wednesday as the Hannibal Cavemen (2-10) outscored the Champion City Kings (4-8) 10-9.

The teams totaled 27 hits in the game.

Sam Griggs racked up four RBIs on three hits for the Hannibal Cavemen. He doubled in the third inning, tripled in the fifth inning, and singled in the sixth inning.

The Champion City Kings couldn't get anything going as long as Ryan Furtney was pitching. The Champion City Kings managed just one hit off of Furtney, who allowed one earned run, walked one and struck out five during his three innings of work.

Michael Greene recorded his first win of the year for the Hannibal Cavemen. He allowed three runs over 3 1/3 innings. Greene struck out five, walked one and gave up six hits.

Evan DeCovich (0-2) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just two-thirds of an inning, walked none, struck out one, and allowed three runs.
