The Champion City Kings (4-7) jumped out to an early lead, but were unable to hold on and lost 7-2 to the Jamestown Jammers (8-3) on Tuesday.

A sacrifice fly by Vinny Mallaro gave the Jamestown Jammers the lead in the seventh inning.

Paxton De La Garza racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Jamestown Jammers. He singled in the first inning and doubled in the eighth inning.

Justin Fritts kept contact to a minimum, striking out seven the Champion City Kings batters. Fritts allowed two earned runs on six hits and one walk over six innings.

Anderson Hasting (1-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just two innings, walked two, struck out one, and allowed two runs.
