A walk-off single from Grant Mayeaux brought home the winning run for the Danville Dans (7-3) in a 5-4 victory over the Quincy Gems (3-7) in 10 innings at Danville Stadium on Saturday.

Mayeaux was solid at the plate for the Danville Dans. Mayeaux went 1-4 and drove in one. He singled in the tenth inning.

Corbin Woods reached base four times in the game for the Danville Dans. He scored two runs and had one RBI. He singled in the second, fifth, and eighth innings.

Jason Gamble improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Danville Dans. Gamble struck out two, walked one and gave up one hit.
