Kiefer Musiel kept the Richmond RiverRats (2-7) off the board during his seven innings of work and the West Virginia Miners (6-3) beat the Richmond RiverRats, 3-0.

Musiel allowed four hits, one walk and struck out six.

Despite the loss, the Richmond RiverRats' Jack Dennis dominated the West Virginia Miners' batters, giving up three runs and striking out six.

Dennis was charged with his first loss of the year.
