The Jamestown Jammers get late runs to finish off the Champion City Kings, 10-4

The Jamestown Jammers (6-1) scored five runs in the ninth to cap a 10-4 win over the Champion City Kings (2-5) on Thursday.

The Jamestown Jammers scored in the ninth on an error, , a two-run single by Tre Gantt, an RBI single by Seth Wall, and a single by Jalen Washington.

Gantt racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Jamestown Jammers.

Hunter Jobe put together a nice outing. Jobe held the Champion City Kings hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out three.

Eric Peterson got on base four times in the game for the Champion City Kings. He scored one run and had one RBI. He singled in the fourth and fifth innings.

Cam Knott improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Jamestown Jammers. He allowed three runs over five innings. Knott struck out four, walked three and gave up four hits.

Brian Bullock (0-2) took the loss for the Champion City Kings. He lasted just one inning, walked none, struck out none, and allowed three runs.
