Jarrett Bednar had an impressive outing against the Quincy Gems' lineup. The Quincy Gems managed just one hit off of the the Kokomo Jackrabbits' pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out seven during his 3 2/3 innings of work.

Jake Wehde (0-2) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just 3 1/3 innings, walked two, struck out two, and allowed three runs.
