Ryan Grening had two extra base hits, sparking the Big Bend (12-16) to a 6-4 victory over the Wenatchee Valley (13-12) on Saturday at Wenatchee Valley .

It was a good day at the plate for the Wenatchee Valley's Zach Howard. Howard went 3-4 and scored one run. He tripled in the third inning and singled in the first and fifth innings.

Miles Bigelow improved to 5-1 on the year by picking up the win for the Big Bend. He allowed four runs over seven innings. Bigelow struck out four, walked three and gave up eight hits.

Kyle Blankenship (3-3) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just six innings, walked one, struck out six, and allowed five runs.
