The Skagit Valley (11-11) refused to relinquish the lead after grabbing it early against the Olympic (8-15), recording an 8-1 victory on Sunday at Skagit Valley.

With five runs in the first three innings, the Skagit Valley left no doubt about the eventual outcome.

An RBI single by Andrew Moore and an RBI single by Joseph Doe in the first inning and an RBI double by Moore and a two-run single by Stevie Semler during the second inning fueled the Skagit Valley's offense early.

Moore racked up two RBIs on three hits for the Skagit Valley.

Patrick Siler put together a nice outing. The Olympic managed just two hits off of Siler, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out three during his seven innings of work.

Connor Harkness couldn't get it done on the bump for the Olympic, taking a loss. He allowed eight runs in 4 2/3 innings, walked one and struck out two.
