Both the Pierce (4-9) and the Shoreline (8-4) put runners aboard on Wednesday, but it was the Pierce that were able to take advantage, pulling out a 4-2 win at Mt Tahoma High School .

Matt Fish pitched lights out for the Pierce. Fish held the Shoreline hitless over one inning, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out three.

The Shoreline were led by a flawless day at the dish by Jacob Zanon, who went 4-4 against the Pierce's pitching. He singled in the first, third, fifth, and seventh innings.

Connor Sharp got the win, running his season record to 1-1. He allowed two runs over one inning. Sharp struck out one, walked none and gave up three hits.

Max Winklehake (0-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just two innings, walked one, struck out two, and allowed one run.
