The Yakima Valley get key pinch-hit in 8-3 victory over the Bellevue

Kasey Bailey was cold coming off the bench, but Bailey warmed up quickly as Bailey stroked a key pinch-hit single in the one to lead the Yakima Valley (5-3) to an 8-3 win over the Bellevue (8-2) on Tuesday at Parker Field .

With the game scoreless in the first inning Bailey came to the plate and singled.

Bailey reached base four times in the game for the Yakima Valley.

The Yakima Valley's Jake Manson was perfect at the dish, going 3-3. He doubled in the first inning and singled in the third and eighth innings.

Chris Petrosie picked up the win for the Yakima Valley. Petrosie pitched seven innings and allowed one earned run, six hits and two walks while striking out four.

Noel Gonzalez (0-1) took the loss for the Bellevue. He lasted just four innings, walked three, struck out five, and allowed five runs.
