Bywater allowed four hits, four walks and struck out three.

Ryan Cavan racked up four RBIs on two hits for the Southern Illinois Miners. He singled in the first innings and homered in the seventh inning.

Gerard Hall racked up four RBIs on one hit for the Schaumburg Boomers. He homered in the eighth inning.

Charle Rosario ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just 5 2/3 innings, walked two, struck out two, and allowed four runs.
