Thursday was a great day for Kyle Brueggemann, as Brueggemann threw seven scoreless innings to carry the Rockford Aviators (40-56) to a 5-0 victory over the Frontier Greys (29-66) at Aviator Stadium.

The Rockford Aviators were led by a flawless day at the dish by Brian Bistagne, who went 4-4 against the Frontier Greys' pitching. He singled in the second, fourth, sixth, and eighth innings.

Brandon Rohde ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his seventh loss of the year. He lasted just four innings, walked two, struck out five, and allowed five runs.
