The Quebec offense too much for the Alberta in 16-6 rout

The Quebec (6-0) jumped out to an early lead on the Alberta (4-2) and captured a 16-6 victory on Sunday at Parc de lEst .

With 10 runs in the first three innings, the Quebec left no doubt about the eventual outcome.

A groundout by Charles Leblanc, a wild pitch, an RBI double by Ismael Ballard, and an RBI single by Jeremy Marchand in the first inning and an RBI single by Benjamin Pelletier, an RBI double by Francis Desilets, a wild pitch, and a wild pitch during the second inning helped the Quebec put some runs on the board early.

Pelletier racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Quebec.

Jake Fischer racked up two RBIs on one hit for the Alberta. He homered in the fourth inning.

Even though Tristan Page allowed six runs over 3 1/3 innings he still recorded the victory, his first of the season. He struck out one, walked two and surrendered five hits.

Jacob Melville (0-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed eight runs in 1 1/3 innings, walked five and struck out one.

The Quebec hammered the Alberta pitching as six hitters had a field day, combining for 10 hits, eight RBIs and 13 runs scored.
