An ace performance by Kevin Duchene spurred the Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox (2-1) to a 1-0 win over the Orleans Firebirds (1-2) on Saturday at Eldredge Park.

Kyle Twomey couldn't get it done on the mound for the Orleans Firebirds, taking a loss. He lasted just five innings, walked none, struck out one, and allowed one run.
