Conner Jauch went 2-3 as the Alameda Merchants (25-22) took home a 3-1 victory over the Top Speed Baseball (44-8) at College of Alameda on Wednesday.

Michael Pope had an impressive outing against the Top Speed Baseball's lineup. Pope gave up just one hit, allowed no earned runs, walked two and struck out three during his five innings of work.

Nick Sanchez pitched lights out for the Top Speed Baseball. Sanchez held the Alameda Merchants hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out one.

Daniel Edmondo couldn't get it done on the mound for the Top Speed Baseball, taking a loss. He lasted just three innings, walked one, struck out two, and allowed three runs.
