The San Francisco Seagulls (23-21) beat the Sacramento Heat (18-26) 11-7 on Friday at Fairmont Field behind Keenan Nishioka, who drove in three runs.

He tripled in the fourth inning and singled in the second, third, and fifth innings.

Braxton Phillips put himself in scoring position with two extra-base hits for the Sacramento Heat. He doubled in the first and fourth innings and singled in the ninth inning.

The San Francisco Seagulls' lineup had no answer for Ryan Locke. The San Francisco Seagulls managed just two hits off of Locke, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out two during his three innings of work.

Michael Eagan recorded his fourth win of the year for the San Francisco Seagulls. He allowed four runs over five innings. Eagan struck out two, walked three and gave up eight hits.

Chase Hunt-Murray ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his sixth loss of the year. He allowed 11 runs in five innings, walked one and struck out two.
