An outstanding effort by Kevin McCanna led the Falmouth Commodores (16-12) to a 5-1 win over the Bourne Braves on Monday at Arnie Allen Diamond.
McCanna pitched lights out for the Falmouth Commodores. The Bourne Braves (19-10) managed just one hit off of McCanna, who allowed no earned runs, walked two and struck out five during his seven innings of work.
Conner Hale racked up two RBIs on three hits for the Falmouth Commodores. He singled in the first and third innings and doubled in the fifth inning.
Ryan Kellogg was charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just five innings, walked none, struck out three, and allowed four runs.
