Dixon's single gives the San Francisco Seagulls walk-off win over the West Coast Kings, 3-2

A walk-off single from Troy Dixon brought home the winning run for the San Francisco Seagulls (17-21) in a 3-2 victory over the West Coast Kings at Marchbank Park on Thursday.

Dixon racked up two RBIs on two hits for the San Francisco Seagulls. He doubled in the sixth inning and singled in the ninth inning.

Nick McGrew was solid at the plate for the San Francisco Seagulls. McGrew went 3-4, drove in one and scored one run. He singled in the fourth and seventh innings.

The West Coast Kings' lineup had no answer for Julian Garcia. The West Coast Kings managed just one hit off of Garcia, who allowed no earned runs, walked six and struck out nine during his five innings of work.

A bright spot for the West Coast Kings in the defeat was Ben Hogan, who allowed only one run while striking out five.

Preston Tarter recorded his first win of the year for the San Francisco Seagulls. Tarter struck out two, walked one and gave up no hits.

Mario Baleto was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just one inning, walked none, struck out two, and allowed one run.
