The Cotuit Kettleers' Grant Kay was perfect at the dish, going 4-4. He singled in the first and second innings, doubled in the fourth inning, and homered in the seventh inning.
Luke Leftwich improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Cotuit Kettleers. Leftwich struck out one, walked one and gave up no hits.
Donny Murray ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just two-thirds of an inning, walked none, struck out one, and allowed one run.
