The Nova Scotia get key pinch-hit in 9-2 victory over the Newfoundland and Labrador

Dustin Harvie was cold coming off the bench, but Harvie warmed up quickly as Harvie stroked a key pinch-hit single in the one to lead the Nova Scotia (2-2) to a 9-2 win over the Newfoundland and Labrador (0-4) on Friday at Julien Morin.

Logan Dowe's nine strikeouts helped the Nova Scotia to the victory. Dowe allowed two earned runs, five hits and two walks over six innings.

Zach Noseworthy ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He allowed seven runs in four innings, walked four and struck out three.
